Our story
Started in 2015.Still the same two of us.
Doug started Owen & Son Lawn Service with a single walk-behind mower and a pickup truck, mowing yards in Forney on weekends. When his son was old enough to ride along, the operation became a two-person crew — and that is exactly what it still is, 11+ years later.
The truck is newer. The mower is sharper. But the philosophy is the same. Show up the same morning every week. Do the boring foundational work right. Leave the gate latched. Wave at the kids in the driveway.
We do not do high-pressure sales. We do not upsell. We do not use chemicals near edible beds without asking first. The lawn either looks good or it does not — that is the only thing that matters, and it is what most of our work has come from: a neighbor in Forney pointing across the fence.
